All About Me

 

My name is Makala Franklin.  I was born in West Point, Mississippi and raised in Columbus, Mississippi.  I am a current resident of Vernon, Alabama where I have lived for seven years now.  I am a mother of two boys, Gabriel and Carsen.  It is because of them that I am working to better myself in my professional and personal life.    

 

I am a recent graduate of Full Sail University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Communications.  I am a freelance event planner and social media strategist.  I want to connect with other professionals to build my outreach.  I live in such a small community it is important for me to use online resources to connect with others and build my connections.

Here on my website I have included my resume and porfolio pieces along with my contact information.  My goal is to become a respected industry professional.  I can say that I am a responsible and hard working individual.  I have many friends because I love to communicate with others and build long-lasting connections.  With this portfolio website my goal is to not only build professional relationships with others in the industry, but I also want to build personal connections, as well.
